Eleven years ago I became interested in learning more about reupholstering furniture. With each new project I became more interested in the design of the room my projects lived in and the other elements associated with them. So, I began studying Interior design. As I began learning about all the different, incredibly talented, trades people who supported interior designers, and with my 30 years plus sewing experience, fabricating window treatments and other soft home furnishings became my focus. I apprenticed for 3years in a high end drapery workroom and received my certification in Interior Merchandising. I now enjoy working at a profession I love. Each and every project becomes a special challenge to me as I take it from the deign process to installation. Each year I attend Expos related to my industry and always seek continuing education at every opportunity.
